We are currently seeking a location that we can call "home". Many of our Veterans and their families in the Katy and surrounding metroplex are in dire need of our services. A site Benefactor for the Texas Veterans Food Bank Foundation is greatly needed. We have volunteers ready to work and serve Veterans and their families. Twenty percent of households that are supported by Feeding America include a veteran or someone that has served in the military. In fact, 27% of veterans of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have struggled to provide food for their families. Source: The Washington Post Freedom From Hunger,

We the Citizens of the United States owe all veterans the right to food and not suffer from hunger. No Veteran in the state of Texas should be forced to beg for food or watch their family go without meals. Become A Volunteer

Slide Our Mission Texas Veterans Food Bank Foundation is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization. We were formulated specifically for all veterans and their families, who have either endured the insecurity of hunger or will face the insecurity of hunger. It is unacceptable here in the United States for any veteran or their families to foster Hunger. We (citizens) in the United States owe, yes owe all veterans the right to have food availability and not suffer
from hungry.
Texas Veterans Food Bank Foundation seeks knowledge and wisdom from Veteran Service Organizations and the entire community, so that our goals are in line with the needs of our veterans. We need your help learning about opportunities that offer a building to house and distribute food to Veterans and their families. We are seeking 2,000 to 3,000 square feet (about the area of a tennis court) of warehouse and office space to begin. If you have or own a space that can be used for those Veterans residing in Katy, Fulshear and surrounding suburban communities, as a Food Bank, we welcome and thank you for your service. If you are a builder that would like to discuss collaboration, we welcome and thank you for your dedication and service.
Our volunteers will entail veterans and dedicated civilians.

Volunteer request have constantly increased to include various Jr. High and High school ROTC units and businesses. The constant request for the formation of our services has now shown us that we will need to increase our schedule of operation. Our schedule of operation will be Monday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. That equates to seven days a week, since our Veterans do encounter emergencies seven days a week.
